Dried Radish Omelette Recipe

Dried Radish Omelette Recipe

Ingredients :

    • Eggs – 3
    • Spring onion (scallion) – 1, chopped
    • Cooking oil – 2 Tbsp
    • Garlic – 2 cloves, peeled and minced
    • Dried salted radish (choy poh) – 45 g, soaked for 10 minutes, drained and minced

Seasoning

    • Light soy sauce 1 tsp
    • Sugar 1/2 tsp
    • Sesame oil 1/2 tsp
    • Ground white pepper 1/4 tsp

Method :

    1. Beat eggs well with a fork and add seasoning ingredients and spring onion. Mix well and set aside.
    2. Heat a fl at pan or wok with half the oil and stir-fry garlic and minced dried radish for 1–2 minutes over low heat. Remove and stir into egg mixture.
    3. Heat pan or wok again with remaining oil until hot. Pour in egg mixture and cook over low heat until lightly browned. Turn over and cook other side until lightly browned. Remove from heat and cut in slices or leave whole. Serve hot.

Preparation time : 15 minutes
Cooking time : 10 minutes
Serves 4
