Ginger Tea (Saiabat) Recipe

Ingredients :

    • 8 oz (250 g) fresh ginger, peeled, sliced into chunks and bruised
    • 5 cups (11/4 liters) water
    • 1/2-1 cup (100-150 g) brown sugar

Method :

Boil all the ingredients in a pot for 30 minutes. Add more water if the tea is too strong. Strain and serve hot or chilled.
