Ingredients for 4 servings

  • buffalo-mozzarella cheese 3/4 lb (320 g)
  • tomatoes 1/2 lb (250 g)
  • basil, fresh 3/8 oz (10 g)
  • extra-virgin olive oil 31/2 tbsp (50 ml)
  • salt scant tsp or 1/5 oz (5 g)
  • pepper scant tsp or 1/8 oz (2 g)

Method :

  1. Slice the tomatoes and the mozzarella.
  2. Place slices of tomato and mozzarella alternately on a plate. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Finally, decorate with fresh basil leaves and drizzle with olive oil.

This dish is best in the summertime when fresh vegetables are plentiful.
