The energy of the sufis

Coffee was imported to Europe from South America by the conquistadors. It is the drink obtained by grinding the seeds of some species of small tropical bushes of the Coffea genus, members of the Rubiaceae family. The types of coffee that are most common today, differing in taste and caffeine content, are Arabica (Coffea arabica), native to Ethiopia, southeastern Sudan, northern Kenya and Yemen (where the first historical records exist of the consumption of this drink by followers of Sufism in 1450); Robusta (Coffea canephora) from tropical Africa; and to a lesser extent Liberica (Coffea liberica), native of Liberia.
