Panna Cotta Recipe

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 cup (125 ml) milk
  • 1/cup (125 ml) heavy cream
  • 31/2 tbsp. (50 g) sugar
  • 1 sheet (1/5 oz.) gelatin

Method :

  1. In a saucepan, bring the milk, cream and sugar to a boil.
  2. Meanwhile, soak the gelatin in a bowl of cold water. Squeeze it out, and add the gelatin to the milk mixture. Stir well, taking care to avoid froth forming, and then pour the mixture into individual molds. Refrigerate for several hours.
  3. Unmold the panna cotta and serve. Try garnishing with a chocolate or caramel sauce, or with a fruit sauce made with strawberries, kiwis, or pears. Alternatively, sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts or pistachios.
